The ‘World 50 Best restaurants’ are chosen in the midst of great secrecy based on the assessment of over a thousand critics, chefs and experts which the British organization has had since 2002, which travel the world from table to table.

The British association also has individual awards (in addition to listings by origin and best bars), such as those mentioned for Roca and León.
