    Pat Fry has confirmed that the Alpine team is bringing a “reasonably large” upgrade package to the British Grand Prix including changes to the floor and sidepods of the car. With these improvements they hope to be able to settle for fourth place in the constructors’ world championship.

    The British Grand Prix will be an exciting weekend

    The Alpine team arrives at Silverstone wanting to recover the points they lost in Canada after the problems suffered by Fernando Alonso, moving from the second starting position to ninth at the end of the race. McLaren is currently fourth in the championship, but Alpine is only 8 points behind and they want to be first among the rest.

    Pat Fry, technical director of Alpine, has commented in the previous to the British Grand Prix who come into this weekend with high expectations, since they are capable of being competitive whether it rains or not and ensures that the weekend at Silverstone is always exciting.

    The British engineer has confirmed that those at Enstone have managed to introduce a package of improvements for this weekend that will include changes to the floor of the car and the pontoons.
